About AA Quality Floors
Breathes new life into old floors. Operating continuously in Michigan since 2008, owner David Cohut and the AA Quality Floors team deliver precision hardwood floor refinishing, custom oak installations, and luxury vinyl plank across Sterling Heights and Metro Detroit.
Craftsmanship Led Personally by Owner David Cohut
Founded in 2008, AA Quality Floors (AA Quality Floors LLC, Michigan Entity ID 801438051) was established with a singular mission: to restore the natural warmth, architectural integrity, and enduring beauty of Michigan hardwood floors.
Led personally on-site by owner David Cohut, our small, dedicated crew treats every home with exceptional respect. As our verified clients highlight in over 50 Google reviews (4.9-star rating), we do not take shortcuts. We brush live stain swatches directly onto your sanded floor so you can choose your color under your home’s authentic natural lighting. We seamlessly blend and tooth-in new red oak boards into existing historical floors so transitions are virtually invisible.
Whether transforming vintage 1950s oak strip floors under old carpet in Warren ranches, converting carpeted staircases into solid oak treads in Troy, or installing moisture-impervious floating luxury vinyl plank over leveled basement slabs in Clinton Township, AA Quality Floors provides personalized communication, daily text updates, and punctual timelines.
